Gedee Car Museum
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to the Gedee Car Museum that is situated within the city of Coimbatore.
Besides the personal collection of the founder of the museum, G.D. Naidu, the museum also contains rare cars that have been gifted by private individuals in the country.
The museum houses every significant development in the car industry, from a replica of the first automobile in the world (the 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen) to recent racing cars. There are over 70 models on display, of which around 30 are from G D Charitable Trust’s collection. The cars are arranged chronologically, with documentation explaining the evolution of the automobile industry as a whole.
The main objective of the museum is to highlight the technologically significant milestones in the evolution of the automobile industry.
At the end of the tour, take lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant. After lunch you will be driven back to your hotel.
